Roberto Luis Ramiriz de Cesano, called Berto

Capitán Roberto Luis Ramiriz de Cesano y Ebero is the only child of Colonel Alejandro Cortez Remiriz de Cesano and Maria Quintero Louise Ramiriz de Ebero. He was fully grown by the time he could remember all of his names. No wonder he was raised on good hearty wine; it took an entire bottle to be able to get through his lineage.
He learned early how to sweep a lady off her feet, and how to rub elbows with the BMOCs while he was at it; his mother's padre was the late Al Calde of Barcelona, Miguel Rodriguez Luis de Ebero, and Berto's illustrious father was none other than the battalion commander of King Phillip's personal guard.
He learned English as a child, when his father accompanied the Spanish ambassador to present a marriage proposal to the young Queen Elizabeth from King Phillip of Spain (What was Phil thinking??). Bounced back and forth between the two countries (and never sure which side would shoot him on sight as a spy or welcome him with open arms), Berto enjoyed the best of both worlds. He soon grew to have a passion for all things English, however, and had to prove his ultimate loyalty to King and country through several duels in Spain. He struck fear into the hearts of his enemies with his reckless style of fighting, earning him the nickname El Tormento Negro. The Black Storm.
Due to the heavy influence of his father the Colonel, King Philip chose the impetuous and fiery young Roberto to be the Cápitan of the Spanish Ambassador's personal guard. The king's ministers understood, after much coaxing, some bribes (and an outright threat or two) that it would be beneficial to have someone who could be friendly with the English, rather than have someone with too much machismo, who might bugger everything up in a fit of temper. Besides, King Philip promised Roberto that he could be the Al Calde of London once the Armada got done with Liz' fleet of toy boats.
The current Spanish Ambassador, the Bishop of Aquila, knows the real truth; that his Cápitan is on a manhunt. Aquila has charged him with finding the English perro who ruined Señorita Elvira Fernandez y Medina, the daughter of the former Spanish Ambassador (which caused the old guy to call down dead of a heart attack, thus ensuring the position for Aquila).
He has a name, and a vague description… and he wants this petty Lordling Benedict to know that the black storm is coming for him.

Fencing. Fencing. English women. Fencing. Schmoozing. Fencing. Depending on the English woman, sometimes all three at once. He's discretely working his way through the English court looking for the perfect woman to sit by him when he becomes Al Calde of London..
